The DARE project was featured at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, one of the world’s leading events for digital innovation, bringing together global industry leaders, policymakers, and technology pioneers.
As part of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) presence at Booth #23 (Catalonia Stand, Congress Square), DARE was showcased among key European initiatives advancing high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and RISC-V-based technologies. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about DARE alongside related projects such as EUPILOT, European Processor Initiative, and eProcessor.

The event provided a valuable platform to present Europe’s efforts towards digital autonomy, highlighting the role of open hardware and next-generation computing systems. In addition, attendees explored initiatives such as the Barcelona Zettascale Lab and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center’s AI Factory, as well as collaborations with industry driving real-world impact through AI and supercomputing.
DARE’s participation at MWC 2026 reinforced its role within the European HPC ecosystem, contributing to the development of sovereign, high-performance technologies for the future.
