The DARE project was represented at DISCC 2026, the 4th Workshop on Data Integrity and Secure Cloud Computing which was held in conjunction with IEEE HPCA 2026.

During the workshop, Dimitris Gizopoulos (University of Athens) delivered a talk titled “Silent Data Corruptions – from Silicon to Cloud Data Centers and AI Systems of Huge Scale”. His presentation addressed the growing challenge of silent data corruptions (SDCs) in large-scale computing environments.

The talk provided insights into the implications of SDCs for computing at scale and highlighted ongoing efforts within the research community to improve system reliability. It also introduced an upcoming special issue of IEEE Micro dedicated to this topic, bringing together contributions from leading experts across academia and industry.
